I am a food scientist, specialized in quality control and comprehensive utilization of agricultural products in storage and processing. The focus of my research is on exploring innovative preservation technology and deep processing for the application in raw and fresh-cut fruit and vegetables.
I obtained my PhD degree at Jiangnan University in 2016, for a thesis assessing the biotoxicity of dietary advanced glycation end products”. Since finishing my PhD, I started in Northwest A&F University as a lecturer at College of Food Science and Engineering and was promoted to associate professor in 2021. From 2022 to 2023, I worked in Wageningen University and Research as a guest researcher at Food Quality and Design Group.
I presided over six scientific research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Program, China Postdoctoral Foundation General Project, Shaanxi Provincial Key R&D Program, University/School-Enterprise Cooperation Projects, and participated in the 13th Five-Year National Key R&D Plan and University-Local/School-Enterprise Cooperation Projects. Up to now, I have won the first prize of Shaanxi Forestry Science and Technology Achievement Award, possessed 3 authorized Chinese invention patents. Also, I’m authors of more than 28 publication on indexed journals. These papers received more than 1000 citations and I have a H-index of 19.
